A lecture on Healing in Addiction: Integration of the Mind and Body. At the end of the lecture, participants will be able to appreciate addiction as a brain disorder, and that a more multidisciplinary approach is needed to address all aspects of the person, from the biological, to the psychological, and to the social.<\/p>\n
Presenter: Mark B. Famador, MD The learner objectives<\/u><\/strong> for this activity are to improve diagnostic skills, increase knowledge of all psychiatric disorders, and discuss recent advances in all areas of psychiatry, psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and evaluative techniques.<\/p>\n The intended audience<\/u><\/strong> for this activity includes psychiatrists and psychologists.
