Patient Safety Quiz<\/strong>
\nWe invite you to\u00a0click here<\/a>\u00a0to take this quiz to test your knowledge of patient safety. Entries with all correct answers will be entered into a drawing. The winner will be announced on Friday, March 17, 2017.<\/p>\n

The Good Catch Program<\/strong>
\nNominate a coworker for putting patient safety first!<\/p>\n

As part of Patient Safety Awareness Week, the Patient Safety Committee is rolling out \u201cThe Good Catch Award.\u201d All Cooper employees are invited to nominate a coworker for this honor. A \u201cGood Catch\u201d is a potential error or safety issue that is identified by a Cooper employee before it reaches the patient.\u00a0All Good Catch nominations will be reviewed by the Patient Safety Committee. The chosen recipient will be presented with their award in the following quarter.<\/p>\n

You can nominate a coworker two ways through the\u00a0EARS\u00a0reporting site<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Option 1
\n\u2981 Click the Good Catch icon .\"\"
\n\u2981 Complete the Good Catch online form and a corresponding event report.
\n\u2981 Be sure to include the name of the nominee on the Good Catch form.
\nOption 2
\n\u2981 When filling out your\u00a0EARS\u00a0B2.\u00a0Near Miss-Didn\u2019t reach person due to recovery efforts from staff event report,\u00a0a field will populate to offer the option to nominate staff members for the Good Catch Award below the B2 harm score.
