Available positions are for full-time, part-time, and per diem for all shifts.<\/p>\n<p>Spring Career Event for Critical Care Technicians<br \/>\n<strong>Thursday, April 6, 2017<br \/>\n<\/strong>3 p.m. to 6 p.m.<br \/>\n<strong>By invitation only<\/strong>: To apply, please click here.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/careers-cooperhealth.icims.com\/jobs\/35436\/critical-care-technician\/job?mode=view&amp;mobile=false&amp;width=683&amp;height=500&amp;bga=true&amp;needsRedirect=false&amp;jan1offset=-300&amp;jun1offset=-240\">Apply Here<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Job Description:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assists the registered nurse in providing direct, indirect, and non-patient care.<\/li>\n<li>Assists patients in dressing, bathing, and eating.<\/li>\n<li>Performs EKGs, collects non-invasive body fluid specimens, and gathers vital signs.<\/li>\n<li>Provides clerical support for the patient care unit including transcription, record keeping, and departmental communications.<\/li>\n<li>Assumes responsibility for transcription, record keeping, and intradepartmental and interdepartmental communications in the patient care unit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Job Requirements:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School diploma or equivalent required with prior hospital\/unit secretary experience.<\/li>\n<li>Acute-care experience preferred. State certification and unit secretary certification desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Certifications: Phlebotomy from NHA, EKG from NHA, and BLS from American Heart Association.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>What to Bring: <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Resume<\/li>\n<li>High school diploma or GED<\/li>\n<li>Phlebotomy certification from NHA<\/li>\n<li>EKG certification from NHA<\/li>\n<li>BLS from American Heart Association<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Spring has sprung and Cooper University Health Care is hosting a Spring Career Event with exciting opportunities for critical care technicians.
