Synthetic cannabinoids comprise the largest class of emerging novel psychoactive substances. This grand rounds presentation will provide a broad overview of the clinical and public health implications of the synthetic cannabinoid \u201cepidemic,\u201d and will review the results of a study describing sociodemographic correlates and clinical effects of synthetic cannabinoid use in a population with serious mental illness.<\/p>\n
