{"id":5789,"date":"2017-09-12T16:44:28","date_gmt":"2017-09-12T20:44:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.cooperhealth.org\/weeklyrounds\/?p=5789"},"modified":"2017-09-12T16:44:28","modified_gmt":"2017-09-12T20:44:28","slug":"epic-2017-upgrade-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.cooperhealth.org\/weeklyrounds\/2017\/09\/epic-2017-upgrade-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Epic 2017 Upgrade Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Epic 2017 upgrade project is currently underway with a go-live date on Saturday night, <strong>November 11, 2017<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this upgrade is to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stay current with Epic software in order to meet our contractual obligations and ensure we are on a vendor-supported version.<\/li>\n<li>Implement features required for MIPS\/MACRA, CPC+, and various other quality and regulatory mandates.<\/li>\n<li>Adopt features that ultimately improve our operations and our financial performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This project will affect all Epic users through visual enhancements.
