We have a number of resources available to assist you during the conversion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Things You Need to Know<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>After the conversion, internal calling to other Cooper employees will require seven digits. You will need to dial the code for the Cooper building plus the four-digit extension of the person you are trying to reach. For example, if the employee you are trying to reach is at the main hospital (One Cooper) and their extension is 2010. You will have to dial 100-2010 because 100 is the code for the hospital. The location codes are below and also on the homepage of Employee Portal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Building Site Codes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>100 \u2013 Hospital (One Cooper) and Sheridan Pavilion (Two Cooper)<\/li>\n<li>101 \u2013 Patient Rooms<\/li>\n<li>102 &#8211;\u00a0 MD Anderson Cooper (Two Cooper)<\/li>\n<li>110 &#8211;\u00a0 CCBO<\/li>\n<li>120 \u2013 All other sites<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Only Cisco wireless phones in One Cooper will be able to use call forwarding. This function will not be available for phones in other locations.<\/li>\n<li>You can continue to dial 9-1-1 for emergencies or 9-9-1-1.<\/li>\n<li>Internal emergency numbers 614, 644, 655, and 666 are not changing and may still be used.<\/li>\n<li>You MUST set your <em><u>personal<\/u><\/em> voice mailbox up again after the conversion is complete.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Where Do I Find More Information on the Phone Conversion?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To access a Q &amp; A document and additional training information, <a href=\"http:\/\/portal\/Pages\/default.aspx\">click here<\/a> to go to the Employee Portal and look on the top right of the homepage as seen below:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5808\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.cooperhealth.org\/weeklyrounds\/files\/2017\/09\/Phone-Conversion.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"626\" height=\"319\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.cooperhealth.org\/weeklyrounds\/files\/2017\/09\/Phone-Conversion.jpg 626w, https:\/\/blogs.cooperhealth.org\/weeklyrounds\/files\/2017\/09\/Phone-Conversion-300x153.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 626px) 100vw, 626px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On the Cooper Learning Network (CLN) there are also training videos on how to use your phone with the new phone system.
