The Epic 2017 Upgrade is coming November 12, 2017. Use the tips below and practice in the sandbox in preparation for the upgrade launch!<\/p>\n

What does this mean?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Look and feel changes<\/strong> \u2013 With the 2017 upgrade there are many look and feel changes in the system. New brighter colors, different graphics, and some buttons may have moved slightly to increase efficiencies.<\/li>\n
  2. Application and role-specific changes<\/strong> \u2013 Each application and role have different changes. Please reference your respective tip sheets<\/a> on the Epic Training site<\/a> for additional details.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    How can I prepare?<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Review tip sheets<\/strong> \u2013 Tip sheets can be found on the Epic Training site. Please review your respective tip sheets to prepare for the upgrade.<\/li>\n
    2. Play in the sandbox<\/strong> \u2013 User logins and how to log into the sandbox can also be found on the Epic Training site. The project team strongly recommends practicing in the sandbox to prepare for the changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      What if I run into an issue during the upgrade?<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Ask your Super User<\/strong> \u2013 There are more than 400 Super Users identified for this upgrade. These Super Users are your peers who will be available to answer questions during the upgrade. You can reference the Super User List<\/a> on the Epic Training site.<\/li>\n
      2. Call the Help Desk<\/strong> \u2013 If an issue arises that your Super User agrees is a true system issue, please call the Help Desk (100-7166).
