We are pleased to announce the 2018 Nursing Excellence Awards, made possible through The Cooper Foundation and the generosity of Cooper supporters and friends.<\/p>\n

Nursing Excellence Awards 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cooper University Health Care celebrates our nursing and patient care team community with the 2018 Nursing Excellence Awards. The annual Nursing Excellence Awards Banquet is scheduled for May 16, 2018, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cherry Hill. The 2018 Nomination Packet is attached.<\/p>\n

Applicant Eligibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Professional Nurses and Advanced Practice Nurses in the ambulatory care or inpatient setting at any Cooper University Health Care location are eligible to be nominated for Nursing Excellence Awards in Clinical Areas<\/strong> (pediatrics, obstetrics, cardiology, critical care, trauma, neonatal, emergency, medicine\/surgery, perioperative, oncology, geriatric, and ambulatory nursing) and also in Advanced Practice Nursing<\/strong>, Leadership<\/strong>, Mentorship<\/strong>, Research<\/strong>, Service<\/strong>, and Compassion<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Allied Health Professionals are eligible to be nominated for the Allied Health Professional Excellence Award<\/strong>. This is a non-nursing award.<\/li>\n
  3. Physicians are eligible to be nominated for the Nursing-Physician Partnership Award<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. Any non-nurse member of the patient care team is eligible to be nominated for the Barbara and Jack Tarditi Award for Excellence in Service<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  5. The Carol G. Tracey Compassion Award <\/strong>is open to all Cooper employees, including professional nurses and advanced practice nurses, and is therefore listed in two categories; however, only one winner will be selected.<\/li>\n
  6. All Cooper employees are eligible to be nominated for the Outstanding Team Award<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  7. All nominees must be Cooper employees in good standing.<\/li>\n
  8. Awards are to be used for education, training, or research.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Application:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Nomination Form: We have a streamlined application form \u2013 one form for all awards.<\/li>\n
    2. Submit one essay (500 words) describing why the nominee is qualified for the award.<\/li>\n
    3. Nomination\/essay must be submitted on or before January 5, 2018<\/strong>, to:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
