Each session in the SOAR\u00ae Study Skills Program builds upon the previous one. The six-week program is geared toward middle- and high school-aged students and will support participants in:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Taking responsibility for their learning.
\n\u2022 Organizing themselves in and out of school.
\n\u2022 Setting priorities through time management.
\n\u2022 Completing assignments efficiently.
\n\u2022 Expanding independent and critical thinking skills.
\n\u2022 Learning and connecting with new information.
\n\u2022 Working up to their potential.
\n\u2022 Reducing test anxiety.<\/p>\n

The sessions run for six consecutive Tuesdays beginning January 21, 2014, at the following times:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Middle school-aged group, 5 p.m. \u2013 6:30 p.m.
\nHigh school-aged group, 7 p.m. \u2013 8:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

Cost for the six-week program is $450 plus an additional $75 for the materials which the students can continue to use after completion of the program.<\/p>\n
