Stop the Bleed is a national initiative to educate the public and motivate bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help during a bleeding emergency prior to the arrival of professional assistance. In most cases, bystanders are the first people to come in contact with an injured person and are best positioned to provide first care.<\/p>\n

In honor of National<\/strong> Stop the Bleed Day on Saturday, March 31, 2018<\/strong>, Cooper Trauma Outreach is offering free training for Cooper employees and members of the community. Additional classes will be offered at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University through June 2018.<\/p>\n

We encourage all Cooper employees to get trained and be ready to act in the face of an emergency!<\/p>\n
