Five members of the Cooper University Hospital EMS team were honored by the Camden County Metro Police Department for heroic work during an incident that occurred in March. The quarterly award presentation took place at Rowan University\u2019s Camden campus and was presided over by NBC 10\u2019s news anchor Vai Sikahema.<\/p>\n
The event was dedicated to recognizing first responders and organizations that performed in cooperation with Camden County Police.<\/p>\n
\u201cEMS workers are always prepared for the unknown,\u201d said police officials at the event. \u201cBeing able to remain calm and getting the job done in these high stress situations can be very challenging. The Cooper EMS team demonstrated the highest level of professionalism while being able to do all they could to save a life.\u201d<\/p>\n
