The DOH notice instructed individuals who visited the locations and believe they may have been exposed to the measles to contact their physicians. To read the DOH notice <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nj.gov\/health\/news\/2018\/approved\/20180622a.shtml\">click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Cooper\u2019s IMT and Infection Prevention teams have prepared a number of resources for our clinical teams as well as our call centers to assist in dealing with patients who believe they may have been exposed to the measles and may be calling or visiting our facilities. You can <a href=\"http:\/\/portal\/Departments\/Infection Prevention\/Measles\/Forms\/AllItems.aspx\">click here<\/a> to access these documents, which are on the Pulse under Measles Protocols and include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Measles FAQ<\/li>\n<li>Notes for representatives taking calls in the Access Center<\/li>\n<li>Measles Screening Information for Clinical Teams<\/li>\n<li>Measles Quick Sheet for Clinical Teams with links for more information<\/li>\n<li>Patient Evaluation and Procedures for Measles for ED and Ambulatory Teams<\/li>\n<li>CDC Checklist for Patient Evaluation for Measles<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Measles symptoms include a high fever, cough, runny nose, watery red eyes and a rash that usually appears between three and five days after symptoms begin.
