Dear Cooper Team:<\/p>\n
On Friday last week, a bus on its way to the Camden Aquarium carrying children ages 9 to 15 from the Boys & Girls Club of Plainfield flipped over on the New Jersey Turnpike in Cherry Hill. The children were brought to Cooper\u2019s Emergency Department (ED). Thankfully, there were no serious injuries or deaths.<\/p>\n
We want to thank all those in the ED and those who assisted the ED team during this event. Some of you were not on duty and others came from other areas of the hospital to provide assistance with the children in the accident. This allowed the ED team to continue to care for their existing patients, all of various acuity, as well as assess those that were in the accident.<\/p>\n
Coming together as a team, and rallying around our patients, as well as helping each other, really highlights the strength of those that work at Cooper.<\/p>\n
