Chevon works in the post-operative SICU on Pavilion 8.<\/p>\n<p>The DAISY Award, established by The DAISY Foundation, is an international program that celebrates the extraordinary care given by nurses every day. It is presented in collaboration with the American Organization of Nurse Executives.<\/p>\n<p>Each winner receives a DAISY Award recipient pin, a Healer\u2019s Touch hand-carved statue, an award certificate, and a gift certificate to Cinnabon\u00ae. In addition, the selected nurse\u2019s unit receives a banner to post for the quarter.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone\u2014patients, families, and professional colleagues\u2014may nominate a Cooper nurse for The DAISY Award.
