Pop-Up Exhibit: The RCA Heritage Program at Rowan University
\n<\/strong>Rowan University

\n10 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

The RCA Heritage Program at Rowan University was established by Joseph Pane, a retired RCA executive, to preserve RCA\u2019s historical role in the development of science and technology in the southern New Jersey region, while also supporting the future of education and research at Rowan University through scholarship opportunities and oral history projects.<\/p>\n

This one-day pop-up exhibit will feature RCA\/Victor players and electronics, historical photos and information about RCA workers in Camden, and items related to the famous mascot, Nipper.<\/p>\n

Tour: The Art of Johnson Park
\n<\/strong>Meet at Cooper Library Steps, Johnson Park, 12 p.m.
\n<\/em>This walking tour explores Eldridge R. Johnson\u00a0Park,\u00a0and the former Cooper Library which stands at the park\u2019s center.<\/p>\n

Tour: Historic Houses of Cooper Street
\n<\/strong>Meet at the NE corner of 2nd and Cooper Streets at\u00a01 p.m.<\/p>\n

This walking tour takes you down Cooper Street and through time as you explore the historic homes and the lives of those who lived and worked on Cooper Street over the last two decades.<\/p>\n

Tour: Public Art on Cooper Street
\n<\/strong>Meet at the NE corner of 2nd and Cooper Streets at 2 p.m.<\/p>\n

This walking tour\u00a0of historic Cooper Street and the surrounding public art in Camden is sure to bring out your creativity. If you\u2019re feeling inspired, bring along sketchbooks, cameras, or journals to capture your own vision of Cooper Street.<\/p>\n

Create Your Own Sketch Book
\n<\/strong>Johnson Park, 10 a.m. to\u00a02 p.m.
\n<\/em>During this hands-on activity, participants will create their own unique sketchbooks to take home or use right away if inspiration\u00a0strikes.\u00a0All ages welcome.<\/p>\n

The Mid-Atlantic Regional Center for the Humanities will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 325 Cooper Street. Stop by the office for information, tour sign-up sheets, light refreshments, and more!<\/strong><\/p>\n
