TCD is a machine that helps monitor the blood vessels in pediatric patients with sickle cell disease who are at a higher risk of stroke. It is an annual exam, unless an abnormal result is registered, then patients are scheduled more frequently. Cooper is the only hospital\u00a0in South Jersey to offer this service.<\/p>\n<p>Studies are performed at One Cooper Plaza in the radiology suites in the lower level of Kelemen Pavilion.
