In 1992, President George Bush issued a proclamation designating the first week of November as \u201cNational Medical Staff Services Awareness Week,\u201d to acknowledge and thank medical services professionals (MSPs) for playing \u201can important role in our nation\u2019s health care system.\u201d<\/p>\n
The MSPs at Cooper include: Rolinda Stevens, Director; Corinne Gierman, Charlotte Humes, and Suzy Wilson, Credentials Specialists; Colleen Gross, Credentials Data Coordinator; and Karen Santore, Administrative Assistant. They are the people behind the scenes who make certain the credentials of all providers who are caring for patients are correct and have been verified. They credential and monitor ongoing competence of the physicians and other practitioners who provide patient care services.<\/p>\n
