Congratulations to the Adult Health Institute for having its poster selected by Cooper staff as the winner in the Patient Safety Week Poster contest and to pharmacist Kate Burdalski, PharmD for winning the Prize Pack from the Patient Safety Quiz!<\/p>\n
During the first week in March, Cooper staff celebrated National Patient Safety Week with a variety of activities and contests that focused on patient safety education and awareness.<\/p>\n
Throughout the week, staff at our ambulatory offices participated in a Patient Safety Quiz, with the grand prize being a Cooper prize pack complete with movie tickets and a gift card.<\/p>\n
Activities geared toward hospital staff included a daily information table, trivia contests and a \u201cPatient Safety Room\u201d where staff could see examples of safe care firsthand.<\/p>\n
Caregivers and clinicians at both ambulatory and hospital locations participated in a poster contest, where departments and units created posters illustrating patient safety topics. The posters were displayed at One Cooper Plaza, and staff voted for their favorite.<\/p>\n
Additional awareness activities throughout the week included patient safety information handouts placed on patient breakfast trays, brochures in the hospital lobby and posters throughout the hospital and ambulatory offices.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
