Medical Laboratory Professionals Week, April 21 through April 27, 2019<\/strong>, is a time to recognize laboratorians who perform millions of diagnostic test procedures in hospitals and clinical laboratories. Did you know that 70% of medical decisions are based on laboratory results? As critical members of the health care team, laboratorians work behind the scenes to verify the accuracy of test results, and to provide them in a timely manner. Health care providers rely on these test results to deliver outstanding patient care.<\/p>\n

The Laboratory team at Cooper is comprised of 203 full-time and part-time staff serving as pathologists, cytogeneticists, technologists, technicians, managers\/assistant director\/director, phlebotomists, pathology assistants, transcriptionists, administrative coordinators, and laboratory assistants.
