First, we want to apologize for the long lines at our Food Truck Festival last week. We asked the Hospital Week Committee to come up with something new for our annual \u201clawn party\u201d because our \u201clawn\u201d became a new conference center. We thought a Food Truck Festival would be fun \u2013 and it was, despite the lines.<\/p>\n
Though the food trucks said they could handle the number of people expected, they clearly could not do so. The lines were too long, especially given the limited time you have for lunch. So, we apologize.<\/p>\n
The feedback on the food truck idea and the quality of the food was positive. Therefore, we are working with the Ronald McDonald House to bring various food trucks in every Friday throughout the summer to give you additional options for you to purchase lunch. Stay tuned for details.<\/p>\n
To make it up to everyone for the long lines last week, we will be providing free soft pretzels and Italian water ice in the cafeteria this Friday as an additional Hospital Week event.<\/p>\n
