Call for submissions: Spring 2022 Center for Humanism newsletter
Members of the CMSRU Community are invited to submit their writing, art, and program updates to the Spring 2022 Center for Humanism newsletter. The theme of this issue is “Riding Out the Storm: Working, Learning, and Living During the Pandemic.”

We welcome short reflective essays, art, poetry, and updates about any community programs to share with the broader Center for Humanism community. Possible ideas include:

– Reflection on your experience getting vaccinated for Covid19

– A description of taking care of a patient who recovered after Covid19

– What it felt like to be reunited with family and friends after getting vaccinated

– Description of resilience programs at Cooper and CMSRU

These can be very brief 200-400 words as you reflect on how the pandemic has affected you. It can be therapeutic, general, personal, whatever your thoughts. It also does not take a lot of effort. You can think of it as an email to a friend.

Deadline: Friday, January 28 2022

Word Limit: 400 words (but shorter is preferred!)

Submit to: Dr. Mara Gordon at gordon-mara@cooperhealth.edu. Dr. Gordon is also happy to talk through ideas if you aren’t sure what to write about!
