Dear Colleagues,
Happy Doctors’ Day from the Physician Engagement Committee!
Today, we celebrate and honor your incredible dedication, compassion, and expertise. Your commitment to our patients, your colleagues, and our broader community is the foundation of Cooper’s strength and success. Each of you brings not only skill and resilience to your work but also a deep sense of purpose that touches lives every day.
This year, we are especially proud of the Physician Engagement Committee’s decision to prioritize giving back to our community as part of our Doctors’ Day celebration. In response to the feedback we’ve heard from many of you, we have chosen to donate school supplies to local children in need in lieu of a traditional gift. This contribution—made in your honor—reflects the care and generosity that define our physician community and the spirit of service that runs through everything we do.
And because a little sweetness still goes a long way, we’re including a chocolate heart as a heartfelt token of our appreciation.
Please also note that the Doctors’ Day breakfast in the hospital originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 27 will now take place on Thursday, April 3. Many other sites already had their breakfast last Thursday.
Thank you for the excellence you bring to your work and for the compassion you show each day. We are grateful for you—today and every day.
With deep appreciation,
Lisa Cerceo, David Shersher, & The Physician Engagement Committee
