The Color of Law – a virtual discussion with Dr. George Hill – TODAY at Noon!
George C. Hill, Ph.D., Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology at Vanderbilt University and CMSRU Medical School Board member, will be the invited speaker for the October 2nd, 2020, Diversity Lecture Series session, sponsored by the Office of Diversity and Community Affairs and the Office of Student Affairs. Medical students across all four years will participate in this session which will highlight various aspects of structural racism. Please register for this event here.
he content of Dr. Hill’s talk is largely covered in the Richard Rothstein’s book – The Color of Law. Staff and faculty are invited to join this virtual event. Students will have continued discussions around this topic within their advisory colleges.
