A 2841/S 1988 would gradually phase out the four percent cosmetic medical procedure gross receipt tax by reducing the tax to two percent for procedures performed after July 1, 2011 and before July 1, 2012 before eliminating the tax all together for procedures performed after July 1, 2012.
