Cooper University Health Care celebrated the expansion of its primary health care services in Gloucester City on September 14, 2016, with a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new internal medicine office. In attendance were physicians, Cooper executives, and local officials.
Gloucester City Mayor William James joined Cooper President and Chief Executive Officer Adrienne Kirby, PhD, FACHE, and internal medicine physician Daniel J. Hyman, DO, in officially opening the new facility.
“Cooper has more than 100 ambulatory offices and facilities in communities across South Jersey and is committed to bringing high-quality, convenient health care to locations where people live and work,” said Kirby.
Akshar N. Patel, DO, an internal medicine physician, will be joining Dr. Hyman at the practice located at 430 South Broadway, Gloucester City, NJ. The new office features additional exam rooms and expanded hours, allowing for more convenient appointment options for patients.
