Eighth-grade students at H.B. Wilson Family School visited Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper to donate handcrafted blankets for pediatric patients. The students collected money and created the blankets as a community service project under the direction of class advisor Yvette Fullman-Everett class.
“Our students had a great time with this project while learning about things for others,” said Ms. Fullman-Everett. “The students’ goal was to brighten the day of a hospitalized child by providing a cozy blanket.”
