Last night, Cooper dietitian, Josh George, RD, visited the Collingswood Fire Department for a healthy cooking demonstration and to answer nutrition-related questions.
Our first responders often place themselves in harms way to help and rescue others. This call to duty can result in a lifestyle of placing others before themselves, especially when it comes to health. That’s why Cooper’s Community Health team works diligently to provide preventative care to our local heroes.
Thank you to the Collingswood Fire Department for your service to our community! We hope to join you for dinner next time!
In November of 2017, Cooper received a grant to expand and enhance first responder, active military, and veteran initiatives. This cooking demonstration helps support the mission to care for and provide our first responder populations. For more information about our community health initiatives, click here.
