A Secret Message on National Library Week

This year during National Library Week (April 19-25), we recognize and thank our diligent Cooper Medical School of Rowan University Librarians for the many innovative ways they are continuing to serve our community more than ever during a time of crisis.

From COVID-19 searches, research projects, and teaching remotely, our CMSRU librarians are working tirelessly to enable our library resources to continue to provide the tools and resources necessary during the pandemic. Take a look:

  • Developing a “Guide to Resources on 2019 Novel Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)”
  • Assisting ICU teams with timely information to answer important COVID-19 questions
  • Initiating a program with CMSRU and Rowan University Engineers to develop face-masks using our 3rd printer, and making the design freely available to others
  • Working with Emergency Department faculty on a project to identify literature related to clinical trials of previous pandemics
  • Supporting all the additional clinical and research needs of Cooper healthcare professionals
  • Teaching medical students remotely

Honor our CMSRU librarians by decoding the inspiring message displayed on the book titles:
