Cooper Specialty Care at Cherry Hill Opens

Cooper University Health Care announces the opening of the Cooper Specialty Care Center at Cherry Hill on April 27, 2020. Cooper’s newest outpatient facility features more than a dozen high demand adult health care specialties, diagnostic services, and patient amenities.

“Cooper has a long history of providing the highest level of health care services for the South Jersey community,” said George E. Norcross III, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Cooper University Health Care. “This tremendous new facility is designed to provide patients with the utmost comfort and convenience for a first class health care experience.”

Services at the Cooper Specialty Care at Cherry Hill, located at 2339 W. Route 70 adjacent to the Crowne Plaza Hotel, include cardiology, endocrinology, nephrology, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopaedics, physical therapy, physical medicine and rehabilitation, podiatry, pulmonary medicine, and rheumatology services.  The Specialty Care Center, at approximately 100,000 sq. ft., has more than 100 exam and procedural rooms for patient visits and a range of outpatient services, as well as numerous patient amenities including express self-check-in.

“This new, state-of-the-art building incorporates all of the latest medical technology while simultaneously offering convenient amenities to enhance the overall health care experience for our patients,” said Kevin O’Dowd, Co-President/CEO of Cooper.

“As South Jersey’s leading academic health system, Cooper has highly skilled specialists, advanced care providers, nurses, technicians, and support staff and this building provides our clinical team and our patients with a technologically-advanced, modern facility to provide quality care,” said Dr. Anthony Mazzarelli, Co-President/CEO of Cooper.

The ground floor features a Welcome Concierge and a full-service café offering Starbucks beverages and snacks. The interior design incorporates natural light, soothing wood tones and colors, original artwork, and views of the Cooper River from the waiting areas. For patients’ convenience, early morning and evening appointments will be available.

As with all of Cooper’s offices during the pandemic, practices in this facility offer both in-person and telemedicine visits. If your doctor determines that you need an in-person visit, patients can be confident in knowing that Cooper has adopted a multi-level screening process for everyone who enters its buildings, including employees, to reduce your risk of exposure to COVID-19. Additionally, Cooper is strictly following all public health and CDC safety guidelines related to COVID-19. As always, we ensure all of our patient waiting areas and rooms are disinfected and cleaned.
