Congressman Donald Norcross joined Cooper University Health Care Co-CEOs Kevin O’Dowd and Dr. Anthony Mazzarelli along with Haddonfield Mayor Colleen Bezich, Camden County Commissioner Melinda Kane and other community officials, and Ripa Center team members at a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the new Ripa Center in Haddonfield.

Today, Cooper University Health Care announced that its new Ripa Center for Women’s Health and Wellness location at 100 Grove Street in Haddonfield is open.

Modeled on Cooper’s successful Ripa Center in Voorhees, the new center will offer primary care, gynecology, endocrine, cardiology, gastroenterology, and breast surgery (oncology) services geared especially for women.

“Fifteen years ago, Cooper introduced the Ripa Center for Women’s Health and Wellness as a new model of care designed by women physicians and advanced care providers for women and we are happy to open the newest Ripa Center in Haddonfield to serve many more women for years to come,” said George E. Norcross III, chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Cooper Health System and Cooper University Hospital, and MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper. “The Ripa family’s commitment to Cooper and Camden has been enormous and we all owe Joe, Esther, and Kelly an enormous thank you for all they have done and continue to do for our region.”

“While Cooper University Health Care has evolved into a leading academic health system with active patients from all 50 states and more than 35 countries, we remain fully committed to expanding access to critical health services in our region.  The new RIpa center marks the latest example of this commitment which will result in expanded access to women’s health care services right here in Camden County,” said Kevin O’Dowd, co-CEO of Cooper

“The Ripa Center has successfully catered to the special needs of women for many years and we are happy to be able to expand these important services to more women with this conveniently located new office in Haddonfield,” added Anthony J. Mazzarelli, MD, JD, BE, co-CEO at Cooper.

The Ripa Center for Women’s Health and Wellness at Cooper is named for Kelly Ripa and the Ripa family, who have been long-time supporters of Cooper University Health Care and women’s health services. Founded in 2007 in Voorhees, NJ, The Ripa Center was created by women, for women to offer comprehensive women’s health center services close to home and work.
