This prestigious national award recognizes Griffiths’ exceptional leadership, commitment to patient care, and outstanding contributions to the nursing profession.

The Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program™ (NRP) was established by Vizient and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing to support newly licensed nurses as they transition into their professional roles. Since its inception in 2002, the program has played a critical role in preparing and retaining nurses in the field. Backed by research and industry expertise, the NRP enhances nursing education and fosters professional development through mentorship, clinical reflection, and interprofessional collaboration.
