(Camden, NJ) –  A beloved Camden tradition continued this year as a record number of hearty holiday meals were distributed to seniors and homebound residents across the city for Thanksgiving. Cooper University Health Care Physicians Lead Multinational Critical Care Education Team in Africa

(CAMDEN, NJ) – For the fourth consecutive year, a multidisciplinary team led by physicians from Cooper University Health Care traveled to Africa from October 1 to 10 to provide advanced medical education in critical care. This year’s program expanded the team’s reach into Ethiopia and Tanzania, where the team conducted training sessions.

The initiative, known as AFRI(Crit), was organized by members of Cooper’s Division of Critical Care Medicine, and brought together physicians from Cooper University Health Care, Medstar-Washington Hospital Center, Kaiser Permanente, Geisinger, Thomas Jefferson University, George Washington University, Morehouse School of Medicine, and Temple University.
