Cooper Honors Haddonfield Nurse with DAISY Award

Cooper University Health Care recently recognized Diane Werner, RN, of Haddonfield, NJ, with The DAISY Award for providing exceptional nursing care. Diane works as a nurse in Cooper’s Post Anesthesia Care Unit and was nominated by the family of a recent patient.  She was cited for her professional care, compassion and advocacy on behalf of the patient following several recent surgeries. Cooper Honors PCU Nurse with DAISY Award

(Camden, NJ)  — Cooper University Health Care recently recognized Caitlin Oshea, RN, of Garnet Valley, Delaware County, Pennsylvania with the DAISY Award for providing exceptional nursing care.

Caitlin, a nurse on Cooper’s Progressive Care Unit, was nominated by the wife of a patient who described her as very caring, empathetic, and supportive. “Caitlin showed extraordinary compassion,” the patient’s wife said. “I felt good knowing she was taking care of him, she went above and beyond to give him his dignity back.” Read more.

Cooper Honors Two Outstanding Nurses With DAISY Award

daisycomboCooper University Health Care recognized Jacqueline Engle, RN, Post-Partum Unit, of West Deptford, NJ, and Sean VanBastelaar, RN, Intensive Care Unit, of Doylestown, PA, with The DAISY Award for providing exceptional care.

Jacqueline was nominated by a patient who described her as “friendly, informative and professional” following the birth of her son. The patient said Engle’s comforting words helped her cope after learning her baby was born with Down syndrome. Read more.
