Santa Claus Has a New Sleigh, Will Arrive Via Helicopter To Visit Sick Children at Cooper University Health Care

Santa Claus will arrive via helicopter to visit pediatric patients and distribute gifts in a pre-Christmas visit to Cooper University Health Care in Camden. While the reindeer rest up for their big night on Christmas Eve, the pilots and staff of the hospital’s air medical transport helicopter, Cooper 1, will give Santa a lift as he stops by to visit hospitalized children.

On Monday December 15 and Tuesday December 16, Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper hosted their annual holiday celebrations for outpatient visitors to their Voorhees and Camden locations. In addition to visits with Santa (aka pediatrician Bill Sharrar, MD, who has played Santa for several years), children were treated to age-appropriate gifts and refreshments.
