March 30, 2020 is National Doctors’ Day. On this day of recognition, we honor our outstanding Cooper physicians who provide healing and hope every day.
In light of this uncertain and difficult time, we feel it is more important than ever to take a moment to acknowledge all those on the front lines – physicians, nurses, and support staff – who are working around the clock to care for our patients.
In honor of Doctors’ Day, the Cooper Foundation is pleased to share with you some of the wonderful messages we have received from grateful donors recognizing Cooper’s exceptional physicians.
“Dr. Nadir Ahmad saved my life and is the best doctor ever!!! Thank you!” – Kathy B. and Sister

“Dear Dr. Rachel Sensenig, I would like to express my gratitude, respect, and honor for EVERYTHING you have given me. You didn’t give up on me, even though my prognosis was grim. I’m sure that no one else would have taken on such a courageous and fearless task as you did. There is not a doubt in my mind that if ANYONE ELSE had fought for my surgery, I would not be writing this to you right now. You are, always have been, and continue to be, fearless and confident. In the midst of my absolute whirlwind, you are a beacon of light, saving my life, and continuing every day to make me more grateful every morning I wake up! Because of you, I am alive, alert, vibrant, and eager to tackle whatever life gives me each new day. For this reason, I am healthy. With each passing day, I continue to improve 100%, and I will never give up. I never had anyone fight for me the way you did! All of my LOVE and GRATITUDE.” – Stephanie L.
“Dear Dr. Alan Turtz, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for LITERALLY saving my life when I was brought to you pretty much at death’s door. I’m positive that if anyone else performed my cranioplasty, I would not be writing this to you right now. God most graciously used your hands to save my life. For this reason, I will thank God and you, every day, for the rest of my life! Dr. Turtz, you are an amazing human being, and I will never stop thanking God for you and your brilliance. All my respect and love.” – Stephanie L.
“Dear Dr. Gregory Kubicek, I want to give thanks to you and your team for making me feel comfortable in my radiation process. However, my special thanks is to you, you are so sweet and caring. Anytime I texted you, you always responded and I felt so important that you took time to answer my concerned questions. I appreciate it with all of my heart. Again, thank you and never change, keep your heart sincere.” – Yvette R.
“Dr. David Feinstein, thank you for always taking the time to listen. You’re a great doc!” – Grateful Patient
“Dear Dr. Michael Rosenbloom, I am eternally grateful to you and your extraordinary skill in dealing with the complications surrounding my aneurysm and bypass surgery in July 2016. My best wishes to you and your associates on the occasion of this Doctors’ Day celebration.” – Grateful Patient

“Dear Dr. Richard Lackman, Happy Doctor’s Day from a grateful patient fortunate enough to be under your empathetic care. It is my pleasure to donate a small honor gift in your name to the Cooper Bone & Joint Institute. I can never repay the peace of mind you provided around the time of my operation and throughout my follow-up care. You made me feel as though I was your only patient and never made me feel as if I was being rushed out of your office. I’ve been to many physicians over the years but none even came close to how special you are. Maybe you should give classes when you retire! Thank you for being you. May you be blessed with future happy, healthy years.” – Grateful Patient
“Dr. Geetha Bhat, I have made a contribution today to the Janet Knowles Breast Cancer Center in your honor. You are a wonderful and caring doctor.” – Grateful Patient
