The annual tuberculin screening (aka TST/PPD) and respirator fit testing has begun for all team members at Cooper except those working at Cooper Cape locations. Team members working at Cooper Cape locations will receive a separate email and have a separate schedule.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requires annual PPD/TST skin tests and respirator fit testing for specific team members based on their occupational risk, as determined by Infection Prevention. Those who need testing will be notified via email.
Fit testing takes time to complete to ensure that a respirator properly seals to a team member’s face. It’s a two-step process that includes a sensitivity test followed by a fit check. Please plan accordingly.
Before attending, team members and leaders should log into iCooper to review their assigned screening and testing for 2025. Employee Health nurses will be on-site to confirm your required screening, testing, or risk assessment.
All Cooper team members are required to complete the tuberculin risk assessment questionnaire.
