It is with great pride we report that Cooper University Hospital General and Vascular Surgery Services have been recognized for their meritoriously performance by the American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (ACS NISQIP). Based on the July 2017 ACS NSQIP Semiannual Report data, our hospital has been identified as achieving a meritorious composite quality score based on a combination of eight surgical outcomes. Cooper University Health will be recognized at the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Clinical Congress. The ACS NSQIP is recognized as the premier and most accurate surgical quality database.
All members of the surgical team should take pride in this accomplishment. To obtain this level of excellence requires coordinated efforts from all aspects of patient care. This includes preoperative assessment and care, intra-operative management, and inpatient and outpatient postoperative care. Our journey to excellence has included perpetual multidisciplinary clinical improvement efforts.
