The “All site percentile” seen on the CGCAHPS scorecard provides a comparison against all practice locations for all health care organizations participating in the vendor’s benchmarking database (Press Ganey). In total, there are about 30,000 sites nation-wide that the CGCAHPS scores are benchmarked against.

In the example below, 98.2% of the 603 respondents gave a Top Box rating to the question (Yes definitely). This top box score (98.2) is higher than 85% of the practice locations in the database, so the group is at 85th percentile in the database.

So it is the case for other service areas, we compare our scores against all facilities/organizations in the vendor’s benchmarking database

What is the “All Site” metric actually reporting in our Patient Experience surveys?
