In the past, EARS reporting only recorded the location of the event. For locations that support multiple service lines, this did not allow for service line leadership to drill down on the events that impacted their team members. For example, the Cooper Bone and Joint Institute wanted to look at OR events for their team members. In the past, this would have been difficult. Now, team members can designate their service line within the event.
This is an optional field. To include the affected service line, simply click the pulldown and select the service line.
