This year, Cooper is joining over 100 organizations across the country in celebrating National Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Week, from September 25 through September 29. This celebration brings APPs together as we recognize, celebrate, bring awareness, and highlight the unique roles and importance of our APPs in providing high quality, patient-centered care. We will honor all Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs), Physician Assistants (PAs), and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) during this week.
This year, we are also spotlighting Evelyn Robles, DNP, APN, AOCN, Administrative Director of Outreach, Prevention and Survivorship at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper, who has been nominated for APP of the Year. The winner of this prestigious award will be announced on Friday, September 29, 2023, during the closing ceremony.
Throughout the week, please help us recognize and thank our APPs for all they do every day to make a difference in the lives of others. Evelyn will be providing education on the role of APPs in both English and Spanish.
