Wellness Wednesday: The Intersection of Art and Medicine

This New England Journal Perspectives piece explores how art and medicine are intertwined, each informing the other. It is a thoughtful reflection on how we communicate from the perspective of an doctor who was an opera singer in another life. We bring all those past versions of ourselves to our interactions though.

In related news, renowned opera singer, Jessye Norman, recently passed away September 30th. Here are some sample songs but she was a towering talent and a model of the voice as a vehicle of communication.
