Wellness Wednesday: An Example From Notre Dame

December 23, 2020 by Cooper University Health Care Leave a Comment

The burned Notre Dame stands as a shining example of resilience despite adversity and an apropos analogy to our journey through the pandemic. While the lead roof is destroyed, the oak vaults gone, and the 8,000 pipe organ now dismantled, the 850-year old cathedral is being rebuilt with fervor. The famous Notre Dame choir will return to the empty building to do a Christmas concert tomorrow.

Here is a work by the modern composer Morten Lauridsen, O Magnum Mysterium, from this past year. And the last choir music performed in Notre Dame before the fire April 15, 2019.

Our wishes for a safe and happy holiday this season!

Best wishes for a happy new year,
GME Wellness Committee
