Job Description:
Performs essential duties in one or more sub-specialties of the Clinical Laboratory according to accepted practices.
Job Requirements:
- Associate’s degree and completion of an accredited medical laboratory technician program is preferred or meets FDA qualifications for CLIA (1988 Clinical Lab Improvement Amendments) standards for all laboratory and high complexity testing.
- 1 year clinical laboratory experience preferred (Student experience acceptable.)
- Current ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathologists) Registry preferred.

NOTE: Additional Requirement for the Molecular Pathology Department (0698):
- Strong skills in molecular pathology and molecular biology required.
- Experience with multicolor flow Cytometry and cell sorting along with the ability to work independently and have good communication, organization and analytical skills preferred.
- Ability to multi-task between molecular and flow Cytometry laboratory.
- Required License/Certifications/ Registration: ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathologists) Registry preferred.
