(CAMDEN, NJ) — MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper proudly announces that Umur Atabek, MD, FACS, a surgical oncologist, has been recognized as a 2025 Cancer Liaison Physician Outstanding Performance Award winner by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons (ACS).
Dr. Atabek is among only 10 Cancer Liaison Physicians nationwide to receive this prestigious honor in 2025. The award highlights his exceptional commitment to improving cancer care quality, advancing clinical outcomes, and supporting patients and families throughout their cancer journey.
