(Cape May Court House, NJ) – Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional today celebrated becoming an approved radiation oncology site of MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper. The site received approval from MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, one of the nation’s leading cancer centers, which partnered with Cooper University Health Care starting in 2013. The Cooper Foundation received a generous $70,000 donation from the Barbara T. Ferraro Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation—marking its third significant gift in support of groundbreaking ovarian cancer research at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper. With two previous donations of $50,000 each, this latest contribution brings the Foundation’s total giving to $170,000, underscoring its deep commitment to leading the charge against one of the most difficult cancers to treat. CAMDEN, N.J. – Cooper University Health Care recently hosted the graduation of the first two U.S. Air Force paramedics to complete the new Paramedic Currency Platform, a groundbreaking military medical readiness initiative developed in partnership with the 87th Medical Group at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.
