Camden County Police Department Honors Fallen Officer With No Shave November Donation to The Cooper Foundation
(Camden, NJ): Continuing a meaningful tradition, members of the Camden County Police Department’s FOP Lodge 218 and CCPD commanders presented a donation to The Cooper Foundation in support of colorectal cancer research at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper. This annual contribution is made in memory of Officer Matthew Sviben, a member of the department who lost his life to colorectal cancer in 2021. Read more.


For the third consecutive year, a team of physicians from Cooper University Health Care traveled to Tanzania at the end of September to provide advanced medical education in partnership with Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences and Aga Khan Hospital in Dar es Salaam. Muhimbili National Hospital, the largest hospital in Tanzania, houses 1,500 beds and serves a population of more than 7 million.
