This new and innovative service was established to provide our local underserved population with unprecedented access to a collaborative practice of 19 medical and surgical specialties under one roof.

On Sunday morning, November 3, 2013, the historic Benjamin Franklin Bridge will close to allow more than 5,000 runners and walkers to participate in this year’s Cooper Norcross Run the Bridge Event presented by AmeriHealth New Jersey. This unique 10K run and two-mile bridge walk—the largest in the tri-state area—benefits the Larc School, located in Bellmawr, N.J., serving students with a wide range of moderate to severe disabilities. Today, Cooper University Health Care and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center signed a partnership agreement to create MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper in Camden. This new, integrated cancer center will be the first partnership for MD Anderson in the Northeast. MD Anderson is located in Houston, Texas, and is the No. 1 cancer center in the United States according to U.S. News and World Report’s “Best Hospitals” survey for the last 10 of 12 years.
