Cooper University Hospital congratulates the Camden Coalition which has been awarded $3.45 million award from the Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation to allow the Coalition to build upon their already successful Diabetes Collaborative by intensely focusing on 2-3 primary care practices that will each receive tens of thousands of dollars in human, clinical, technological, and financial resources over the next 5 years.

Cooper Becomes First Hospital in New Jersey to Offer Breastfeeding Lounge to Employees

New moms, who are Cooper University Hospital employees, will now have a new comfortable and safe environment to pump milk after returning to work from maternity leave. In its continued efforts to join the global Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative, Cooper has created a Lactation Lounge where employees can continue a breastfeeding routine that works for them and their babies.

The newly formed Domestic Violence Response Team at Cooper University Hospital is the only one of its kind in the state. The all-volunteer team, which was created in conjunction with the Camden County Women’s Center, makes Cooper the only hospital in New Jersey with a dedicated Domestic Violence Response Team.
