For the third consecutive year, Cooper University Health Care was named one of America’s Best-in-State Employers by Forbes, the prominent national business publication. Cooper was one of only 12 health systems in New Jersey to make the Forbes list in 2023.

Cooper University Health Care and Inspira Health today announced the formation of Cooper and Inspira Neuroscience, another partnership between the two health systems. The formation of this partnership improves local access to a comprehensive range of advanced neuroscience care including surgical and nonsurgical services related to the brain, spinal cord, and central nervous system. This new arrangement builds on the proven success of 
Cooper University Health Care will host the first New Jersey Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) Hackathon. The goal of this event is to explore innovative ways to leverage health information technology to better engage at-risk populations, improve access to care, address issues of equity, and chronically poor health outcomes for underserved and marginalized populations at both the local and state level.
As part of its Health Careers Initiative (CHCI) program, Cooper University Health Care, in cooperation with several community organizations, is now offering a new program for students interested in becoming emergency medical technicians (EMTs).
