Cooper University Health Care has expanded its life-saving air medical transport service to the South Jersey community with the addition of a new helicopter. Cooper has been providing this vital service to residents of Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland, and Salem counties since 2010.

Today, Cooper University Health Care opened a new 5,500 square-foot addition to its Emergency Department (ED) featuring 10 state-of-the-art exam rooms that will improve the patient experience and reduce wait times.
“Cooper has one of the busiest emergency departments in the region as the only Level 1 Trauma Center in South Jersey, this addition will help us better serve our community and improve the patient experience in the ED,” said Kevin O’Dowd, JD, co-president of Cooper University Health Care.
